Mahwah Council Unanimously Votes To Extend Tax Grace Period
The Mahwah tax department sent out a memo on Friday updating residents on the status of the grace period.
MAHWAH, NJ — Mahwah Township has extended the tax grace period to June 1, according to a memo from the township tax department.
The move comes after an executive order from Gov. Phil Murphy earlier this week and, according to the memo, a unanimous vote to extend by the township council.
Town hall is closed to the public, but there is a drop box for tax and utility payments outside the municipal building, 475 Corporate Dr. The box is collected daily Monday through Friday.
