Mahwah to Hold 'Meet the Candidates' Event on Oct. 23

Mahwah will hold a ”Meet the Candidates” event for Mahwah residents on Thursday, Oct. 23 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Senior Center of the Richard J. Martel Municipal Building, located at 475 Corporate Drive in Mahwah.

All Mahwah residents are invited to the special event for the opportunity to meet Town Council candidates Mary Amoroso, Janet Ariemma, Dennis Burns, David Haubner, Robert Hermansen, Robert Lockwood, Jonathan Marcus, Gary Montroy, Gregg Sgambati and Jonathan Wong and hear their views on key issues.

In order to accommodate all ten candidates, each one will have the podium for five minutes to introduce themselves and what they would like to accomplish if elected.

Following the formal presentations, each candidate will have a table where they can meet voters and answer individual questions directly.
