PA Man With 500 LSD Squares Arrested In Mahwah, Police Say
Adrian Wielgolaski, 25, was arrested after police saw an alleged drug transaction on East Ramapo Avenue, authorities said.

MAHWAH, NJ — A Pennsylvania man was arrested after police found 500 packaged "squares" of LSD in his vehicle Tuesday, police said.
The arrest occurred while Officer John Rodriguez was patrolling East Ramapo Avenue and saw people in a municipal commuter parking lot. He saw people get into separate vehicles and and drive away, said Chief James Batelli.
Rodriguez stopped one of the vehicles on Island Road. He spoke with the driver, Adrian Wielgolaski, 25, and "believed that he was being less than truthful," Batelli said.

Police searched the vehicle and found a paper sheet with 500 perforated squares packaged with LSD, Batelli said.
Wielogolaski was arrested and charged with possession of LSD with intent to distribute and possession of a controlled dangerous substance, the chief said.

Wielogolaski was taken to the Bergen County Jail in accordance with New Jersey Bail Reform regulations, Batelli said.
