Mahwah Schools Create COVID-19 Dashboard, Resume In-Person Class
In-person instruction started on Tuesday at Mahwah Public Schools, but the district will continue closely monitoring the coronavirus.
MAHWAH, NJ — The public school district has launched a COVID-19 dashboard to update residents and parents as students returned to classrooms across Mahwah Tuesday.
Though students are returning to in-person learning, the district is ever-aware of the trends related to the coronavirus, and have made a call for support from parents, guardians, students and staff to abide by district health guidelines.
The district is doing their part to be more transparent about what's happening within, though, as they've recently launched a coronavirus dashboard.

"As we return to our in-school learning experience during these unique times, we remain committed to providing our students and staff with an environment that adheres to all health guidelines and delivering an instructional program at a high level. The addition of our dashboard reinforces our commitment to transparency to all involved," wrote the Mahwah administrative team, in a message.
According to a message on the dashboard page, "the dashboard numbers reflect information for September 8 through today’s date - those positive cases to which the district has been notified. The purpose of this dashboard is to provide the community with actual data information related to the cases that have been present in the district."
