Mahwah Youth Basketball to Hold Basketball Clinic for Children with Special Needs

The introductory clinic is for Mahwah Children who may not be ready or comfortable with the structure of recreation basketball.

Mahwah Youth Basketball will have an All Star Basketball Clinic for children with special needs.

Mahwah Children in grades 3 to 8 who may not be ready or comfortable with the structure of rec basketball can join the introductory clinic with a high coach to player ratio that will allow children of all levels to learn about and enjoy playing basketball.

The program will work on fundamental skills such as dribbling, passing, and shooting and may do some controlled scrimmage.

The clinic will be held on six Saturdays beginning Jan. 10 from 1:15 to 2:15 p.m. at the Joyce Kilmer School’s New Gym.
