Man Has Part Of Leg Amputated Following Mahwah Accident, Report States
Jason Criscuolo was hit by a pickup truck while trying to cross Route 17 Sunday.

An 18-year-old man had his leg amputated from the knee down after he was hit by a pickup truck while trying to cross Route 17 in Mahwah Sunday night, Cliffviewpilot.com reported.
Jason Criscuolo was struck around 7:40 p.m. on the southbound side near McDonald’s, the report states.
The 43-year-old driver of the pickup truck from Franklin Lakes wasn’t injured and cooperated with authorities; Mahwah police, fire, and emergency medical service personnel responded to the scene, according to the report.

Route 17 was closed for three hours following the accident, the report states.
