New Courts At Commodore Perry Field Are Installed
New court surface replaces the aging asphalt surface and requires little to no maintenance.

MAHWAH, N.J. — The new athletic courts at Commodore Perry Field are complete, officials announced.
The new surface replaces the aging acrylic asphalt surfaces, which were expensive to maintain, said Mayor William Laforet. The new surface has a 15-year life cycle with almost no maintenance.
"The hockey court is the closest to the speed of playing hockey on ice," Laforet said. "The continuing investment in our recreation facilities is for the enjoyment of our entire community."
