NJ Man Charged With Sexual Assault Of Child In Bergen County

The Irvington man also faces a charge of child endangerment, the Bergen County Prosecutor announced.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — An Irvington, New Jersey man faces charges of sexual assault and child endangerment following a three-day investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit.

The prosecutor announced the charges against Terrell Wilson on Thursday. Wilson, a cook, was arrested on Wednesday.

According to the Prosecutor's Office, the Hackensack Police Department contacted the SVU regarding the alleged sexual assault of a child on Dec. 5. An investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Hackensack Police Department revealed that Wilson sexually assaulted the child.

He faces four total charges, and was taken to Bergen County Jail, where he awaits a first appearance in court.
