Rain, Rain Go Away: Mahwah Movie Night Postponed
Due to expected rain, the Mahwah Recreation Committee has moved the event to next week.
MAHWAH, NJ — Mahwah's Wednesday movie night has been rescheduled due to a rainy forecast, the Recreation Committee announced.
Originally scheduled for July 22, the committee has moved the date back to Wednesday, July 29.
Other than the date change, however, things will remain the same.

The free outdoor screening of "Playing with Fire" will be held at Commodore Perry Field.
The screening is scheduled for 7:30 p.m., but a news release said the screening will begin "as soon as darkness allows."

Admission is free for all Mahwah residents. Seating will not be provided, so residents should plan to bring a blanked or chairs. The refreshment stand will be serving food, snacks and drinks.
Families are asked to practice safe social distancing, staying within marked areas on the field. Masks are required while moving about, but may be removed while watching the movie.
