Rec League Basketball, Co-Ed Volleyball Back In Mahwah

MAHWAH, NJ — Two recreation leagues are starting up for the fall in Mahwah, with a co-ed volleyball league and recreational basketball league set to begin this week.
The Recreation Department has released information about both in the days leading up to the start. Here's what to know.
Men's Basketball

"Mahwah Recreation is sponsoring a free Men’s Basketball program. This recreational league will be divided into two age groups: The more competitive 21-34 group and the 35 and up “let’s get some exercise and have fun” group. Pick-up games will be played on Wednesday evenings, starting September 22, 2021 and ending June 8, 2022. Games will be played in the main gym at Ramapo Ridge Middle School from 7:00-9:30 pm. If school is closed for any reason the game is cancelled. Mahwah Residents Only. The program is free, drop-ins are welcome."

"Mahwah Recreation is sponsoring a free coed volleyball league. Please note that this is a recreational league, open to Mahwah residents only. Pick-up games will be played on Wednesday evenings, starting September 22, 2021 and ending June 8, 2022. Games will be played in the back gym at Ramapo Ridge Middle School from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Please use the back gym entrance. If school is closed for any reason the game is cancelled."
