Three Men Arrested in Mahwah After Using Counterfeit Bills
Police seized ten counterfeit $100 bills from the vehicle, along with $2,000 cash.

Three men from the Bronx were arrested by Mahwah police Monday after using counterfeit bills.
Police were called when the trio tried to pay a pizzeria with fake bills Monday, Cliffview Pilot reported.
Christopher A. Moore, 27, Bryan Guillermo, 28 and Youraj Baljit, 29, denied the allegations at first but police found ten counterfeit $100 bills along with “$2,000 in legitimate currency” in the vehicle, which “is believed to be change they received when purchasing items in the stores,” Chief James Batelli told Cliffview Pilot.

Moore, Guillermo and Baljit are due in Municipal Court today and have been charged with theft by deception and criminal simulation, though additional charges are likely to be pressed.
