Trapped in the house? Can't get out to exercise? No problem do it at home!

I know it's really tough staying motivated when it's cold and needless to say snowy!  Very very very snowy! But there are plenty of at home exercises you can do without fancy equipment or any equipment for that matter. To list a few:

 

Push - ups

Squats

Lunges

Burpees ( yes burpees!)

Jump squats

Planks

Crunches

Sit -ups 

 

The list goes on.  You can pair some of these together, do a few or do them all!  It's easy to put the TV on and plop on the couch, before you do that get in quick workout you will feel so much better after it is done.  Whether you do 10 minutes or 30 minutes something is better than nothing!

 

Here is a quick workout you can do right in front of your TV; you don’t need any equipment or a lot of space.

 

You can do this two ways:

#1.  All of the below excercises at once.   3 times thru

 

50 Jumping Jacks

40 burpees

30 Push-ups

20 Squats

10 sit –ups

 

Or

 

#2.  If you are watching TV every time a commercial comes on see how many times can you get thru the same 5 exercises doing them 10 times each.

I know it’s tough to stay motivated the snow has been pummeling us but the good news is Spring is right around the corner!  Lets be ready for it...!!!
