Water Main Break Impacts Mahwah Traffic And Water Pressure

Mahwah officials had advice for anyone experiencing loss of water pressure or discolored water on Wednesday.

MAHWAH, NJ — A water main break in Mahwah — near the New York State line — will impact water pressure and traffic patterns on Wednesday, officials said.

Mahwah's Water Department will be repairing the break on Miller Road, near Flaming Arrow Road, they noted in a message to residents just before 9 a.m.

Traffic will be in an alternating pattern between Beveridge Road and Flaming Arrow Road, police said.

If you live in the area, you may experience low water pressure or loss of water.

"Also, if you live in the area and experience discolored water please run the cold side of your faucets only until they run clear," officials advised. "Please use caution driving in the area."
