Wegmans Hiring 500 People For New Bergen County Store
200 of the hires will be full-time workers.

Wegmans has begun hiring 500 people for its first Bergen County store, the company announced Wednesday.
The store will anchor The Shoppes at DePiero Farm, a 28-acre, $125 million project. The 108,000-square-foot store is going where the former DePiero’s Country Farm, a 91-year-old family-owned business, was located.
The store has begun hiring 200 full-time employees, the company said. Another 300 people will be part-time. Of 500 people, 450 will be local residents, the company announced.
