MAHWAH, NJ — If you've ever wondered about the history of your home in the Mahwah area, you can find out how to research it at a presentation at the Mahwah Museum later this month.

"Mahwah houses range from the old stone houses built in the 1750s to modern constructions built this year," the museum says.

The museum's vice president and archives director, Cathy Moran Hajo, will provide an introduction to researching your house and property history, the museum says.

Hajo will provide an overview of the resources to help find out when your home was built, who lived in it before, and its architectual style.

Hajo is a historian who works at Ramapo College, directing and editing the Papers of Jane Addams as a freely accessible digital edition, the museum said. She has a Ph.D. in history from New York University and a B.A. from Ramapo College.
