• King's Golden Goal Lifts Southern Past Mainland in Overtime Thriller (TAPinto Stafford & LBI) — Southern Regional boys soccer, representing the Manahawkin area, pulled out a dramatic 2-1 overtime win over Mainland thanks to two clutch goals from sophomore Michael King. Strong performances from keeper Rich Southwick and playmakers Jaxson Simon and George Katsianis helped the Rams climb above .500 in a tense non-conference road match.
