2 Shoplifting Incidents at Manalapan Walgreens
The local Walgreens on Rt. 33 has been the victim of shoplifting twice in the past two weeks, according to police.
Manalapan, NJ - The local Walgreens on Rt. 33 has been the victim of shoplifting twice in the past two weeks, according to Manalapan police.
The most recent theft occurred last Wednesday, Nov. 30. At approximately 8:00 p.m., police were called after a man removed slippers valued at $19.98 from a display and walked out the front door without paying, store employees said. The man was described as white, in his 50s with long dirty blonde hair, wearing a gray shirt and navy pants. He was last seen entering a white pick-up truck in an unknown direction of travel.
That same day, police were informed about an earlier shoplifting that had occurred at the Walgreens the week prior. On Monday, Nov. 21, a man removed cologne valued at $607.89 from a display and walked out the front door without paying. He was described as a black male in his 50s, bald, with glasses, wearing a long brown trench coat. He was last seen entering a silver Nissan Sentra, with an unknown direction of travel.
