Alice Schoemann Is First Honoree To Receive Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Michael Scott Leadership Award

"Like Michael, Alice Schoemann is a leader in every sense of the word."

MADISON, N.J. – (December 17, 2014) – Alice Schoemann, a Princeton Junction resident and branch vice president of the Marlboro/Manalapan office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New Jersey and Rockland County, N.Y., was recently honored by the real estate company with its first annual Michael Scott Leadership Award. Schoemann manages approximately 70 affiliated sales associates representing home buyers and sellers in Monmouth County and surrounding areas.

The Michael Scott Leadership Award was established to celebrate the life and achievements of Michael Scott, who was a greatly admired and respected office manager for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. For 14 years, Scott led the company’s successful Westfield East office.

“Through his leadership and influence, Michael left behind an extraordinary legacy which we will always remember with high esteem and appreciation. This annual recognition will honor a Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage manager who exemplifies the qualities that made Michael such a remarkable leader,” said Hal Maxwell, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New Jersey and Rockland County, N.Y.

“Like Michael, Alice Schoemann is a leader in every sense of the word,” said Maxwell. “She is goal-oriented and passionate about this business and this company. Her enthusiasm and positive attitude are shared with the agents she manages, and that in turn has created an extremely successful office. Alice is also an incredibly caring person, and strives to make a difference in her community by helping others who are less fortunate.”

A lifelong New Jersey resident and former elementary school teacher, Schoemann earned her New Jersey real estate license in 1985, followed by her New Jersey’s broker’s license in 1989. As a sales associate, Schoemann was the top sales agent at the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Princeton Junction office from 1985-1991. Every year from 1986-1991, she earned the New Jersey Association of Realtors Circle of Excellence Sales Award at the Silver Level.

Schoemann was promoted to office manager by Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in 1991, and has won awards for her successful leadership for many consecutive years. Her accomplishments include the prestigious Coldwell Banker Premier Office and NRT LLC President’s Council for Managers awards. Schoemann continually leads her office in fundraising and volunteerism to help local communities through Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares, the company’s philanthropic arm. Organizations that have benefitted through Schoemann’s efforts have included Freehold Area Open Door, Habitat for Humanity, and the Food Bank of Monmouth and Ocean counties.
