Join us for this free presentation and learn more about benefits, programs, resources and services for eligible Monmouth County older adults (ages 60 and up), adults living with disabilities (ages 18-59), veterans and their dependents (including surviving spouses of deceased veterans) and caregivers. Topics will include nutrition assistance, medical transportation, home and respite care, Medicare counseling and more. Relevant printed informational materials will be available.
About the presenter: Joseph Corcione is the Outreach Coordinator and Information and Assistance Specialist for the Monmouth County Division on Aging, Disabilities, & Veterans Services. Monmouth County Division on Aging, Disabilities & Veterans Services is the designated Area Agency on Aging (AAA) and Aging & Disability Resource Connection (ADRC) ensuring easy access to information on community-based services and supports for older adults, adults living with disabilities and their caregivers, and assistance to veterans and their dependents with filing VA disability claims, obtaining military records and accessing benefits. The agency encourages the well-being and independent living of the clients they serve and provides community outreach throughout the year to increase awareness of what is available to those who are eligible.
