Cameron Wilson of Manalapan Receives Congressional Award from Rush Holt
Congress established the Congressional Award in 1979 to recognize initiative, achievement, and service in young people.
U.S. Rep. Rush Holt (D-12) presented several young Monmouth County residents with the Congressional Award on Wednesday night at the .
Manalapan resident Cameron Wilson received the award from Holt, which recognizes achievement, initiative, and service.
According to a new release, "The program is non-partisan and open to all 14- to 23-year-olds. The local students all have earned Bronze, Silver and Gold Congressional Award Medals – requiring a total of 200, 400, or 800 hours of activity respectively."
