Community-Minded Residents Needed To Help Keep Families Safe At Home

180-Turning Lives Around,  a domestic violence team in conjunction with the Manalapan Police Department,  is seeking members of the community to be specially-trained as Volunteer Victim Advocates for the Manalapan Domestic Violence Response Team. 

Domestic Violence Team Advocates, who serve on an on-call basis, respond to police headquarters at the victim’s time of crisis to confidentially provide the victim with: support and advocacy, legal rights such as restraining orders, safety planning, referrals to counseling and other services.

For over thirty-years, 180-Turning Lives Around, a private non-profit organization, has been dedicated to providing shelter, counseling, protection, support, prevention, education, and advocacy for residents of Monmouth County who are affected by domestic violence and sexual assault.
