Higher Commuter Parking Fee Confirmed

The commuter parking fee price increase, which was of this year, has been confirmed in second vote by the Township Committee, according to a story in the Asbury Park Press.

A resident raised the conflict of interest issue, pointing out that Councilwoman Michelle Roth, who owns a commuter parking permit, did not recuse herself from the vote in February.

The ordinance was , and approved unanimously by the committee with Roth recusing herself on Sept. 14. The commuter parking fee has been raised from $150 to $201.
