Thursday Morning Book Club: "The Enchantress of Florence"

The next meeting of the Thursday Morning Book Club will be held Monmouth County Library, 125 Symmes Road in Manalapan, on Feb. 16 from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

Join us as we discuss "The Enchantress of Florence" by Salman Rushie, one of the most influential and multi-award-winning novelists of contemporary fiction.

"The Enchantress of Florence" is the profoundly moving and completely absorbing story of a mysterious woman.  This great beauty, believed to possess powers of enchantment and sorcery, attempts to command her own destiny in a man's world.  Experience two cities at the height of their influence -- the hedonistic Mughal capital, and the equally sensual city of Florence during the High Renaissance.

The club meets on one Thursday each month at 10:30 am and welcomes new members. Books are available at the Circulation Desk.
