First Aid Squad Looking for Winter Volunteers
The Advanced Clinical Triage Squad (ACTS) is a New Jersey based community response team run by high school students.
The Advanced Clinical Triage Squad (ACTS) is a subsidiary branch of the High School Association of Medical Engineers & Scientists, Inc. (HAMES) that consists of talented students in New Jersey who are prepared with the knowledge to quickly act in traumatic and medical emergencies. The ACT squad accepts candidates year-round on an ongoing seasonal basis.
Emergency Medical Responders (EMRs) are elite trained and certified personnel equipped with basic life support skills, event medicine experience, and trauma skills with a mastery in triage. Any current high school student is welcome to apply for free ACTS training, however, the application process is very selective.
