Five Things You Need To Know

1.  It's looking like a nice sunny Tuesday, Manalapan. According to the National Weather Service, today will be mostly sunny with a high near 50 degrees. However, expect some rain Tuesday night, mainly after 2 a.m.

2. Want to see Clint Eastwood's latest film, 'Hereafter'? The Monmouth County Library will host two showings of it today, one at 11:30 a.m. and another at 6:30 p.m.

3. Looking for a cool summer job? You might want to circle Saturday, Mar. 19 on your calendar, when the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel hosts their annual Job Fair at the venue's main plaza. ARAMARK will be hiring for concession stands and the arts center will be looking for ticket takers and parking lot attendants.

4. Know of any historic buildings in Manalapan or Englishtown that you think are worthy of recognition? The Monmouth County Historical Commission is accepting nominations for its annual preservation awards program. Any structure, including office buildings, houses of worship, public buildings and homes, that is over 50 years old, has historic value, and has undergone preservation work in 2010 is eligible for the award.
