Manalapan Homesense Store Will Open Feb. 28
The Homesense that's opening at the old Sports Authority at the Rt. 9 EpiCenter will officially open their doors Thursday, Feb. 28.

MANALAPAN, NJ — The Homesense that's opening at the Rt. 9 Manalapan EpiCenter will officially open their doors for business on Thursday, Feb. 28, the company announced.
Previously, the company had even refused to confirm they were moving into the former Sports Authority store in the EpiCenter, but this week they announced the Feb. 28 opening date. Regular store hours are Monday through Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Special Grand Opening Day hours will be from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
The EpiCenter is Manalapan's major shopping complex, and anchored by the Wegmans supermarket.

Homesense is a furniture and home decor store operating under the umbrella of TJX Companies (Marshalls, HomeGoods, TJ Maxx). It was described by Cosmopolitan magazine, in this 2017 article, as "HomeGoods on steroids."
The store offers an array of large-scale furniture, a rug emporium, an extensive lighting department that includes hanging chandeliers and a “general store” featuring everything from hardware to storage needs. Customers will also be able to shop for seasonal items including outdoor entertaining must-haves and holiday décor as well as unique artwork, decorative accessories and gift-wrapping essentials.

There is another Homesense in Monmouth County, in the Seaview Square shopping center in Ocean.
