Manalapan Police Investigating Another Possible Luring Attempt
Police say a 15-year-old boy reported that a man pulled into the driveway of a Friar Lane home and asked him if he wanted lollipops.

Manalapan police are investigating another possible luring attempt.
At approximately 4:10 p.m. June 5, Officer Matthew Mattia was sent to a Friar Lane home, where a 15-year-old boy from Brooklyn, New York reported that a man pulled his vehicle into the driveway and asked the teen if he wanted lollipops, police said.
The man then backed his vehicle towards the roadway, got out of the car, and again asked the boy if he wanted any lollipops, police said.

The man then drove away, toward Madigan Lane.
He was described as white, and in his late 40s, with a slightly wrinkled face. He had black hair with graying sides, a black mustache, a slight receding hairline, and he wore black sunglasses and a black v-neck t-shirt.

He drove a dark-colored, possibly royal blue, Toyota Prius hybrid with no front license plate and a tinted rear NJ license plate. The plate number is unknown.
On May 31, a man tried to lure three young boys into his car in the Lambs Lane area, police have previously said.
In that case, the man approached boys between the ages of 10- and 13-years-old and tried to lure them by pretending he needed help searching for a missing cat, police said.
That man was described as white, in his late 50s, with brown, shoulder length hair that had some graying. He also had a mustache and bags under his eyes.
He was driving a four-door, silver sedan with unknown New Jersey license plates.
On their Facebook page, police have said that incident remains under investigation.
