Manalapan Schools Delay Opening By 90 Minutes Due To Snowstorm

The Manalapan-Englishtown School System said all schools will be delayed 90 mintes Friday morning due to the snowstorm.

The same goes for Manalapan High School, which will also have a delayed opening in anticipation of a snowstorm expected to start Thursday night and into Friday morning, according to the district’s Web site.

Because of the number of weather-related delayed openings the district has experienced in recent weeks, midterm exams and the close of the second marking period at the high schools have been pushed back. The district announced that exams will run from Thursday, Jan. 27 to Tuesday, Feb. 1. The new marking period will begin on Wednesday, Feb. 2.
