Manalapan Wegman's Sells Winning Lottery Ticket, State Announces

Manalapan, NJ - Time to check your pockets! Did you buy a lottery ticket at the Manalapan Wegman's recently?

While there were no Mega Millions game jackpot or second-tier New Jersey prizewinners, the Manalapan Wegman's sold a third-tier prizewinning ticket that matched the four white balls and the Gold Mega Ball for the Tuesday, August 23 drawing.

The Manalapan Wegman's was one of two locations that sold the third-prize ticket. The other is in Passaic County: ACME #1099, 5774 Berkshire Valley Rd., Jefferson Township, said Carole Hedinger, executive director of the New Jersey Lottery.

The winning numbers for the Tuesday, August 23 drawing were: 02, 07, 46, 61 and 66. The Gold Mega Ball was 01, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 02. If those tickets had been purchased with the Megaplier option, it would have multiplied the prizes to $10,000.
