Pedestrian Hit On Rt. 9/Taylors Mills Road In Manalapan
A local man remains critical after he was hit by a Marlboro driver Monday night at Rt. 9 and Taylors Mills Road in Manalapan.
MANALAPAN, NJ — A local man remains critical after he was hit by a car Monday night at the intersection of Rt. 9 and Taylors Mills Road in Manalapan, said Manalapan police.
According to police, the accident happened at approximately 9:20 p.m. Monday. The victim, a 36-year-old Manalapan man, was crossing Rt. 9 when he was struck by a driver traveling north.
The pedestrian was identified by police as Shamil Semenduyev of Manalapan. He remains in critical condition Tuesday at Jersey Shore University Medical Center.

The driver was identified as a 34-year-old man and resident of Marlboro. He has not been charged.
The pedestrian was rendered aid and flown by New Jersey State Police helicopter to the trauma unit at Jersey Shore.

State Police, Monmouth County Serious Collision Analysis Response Team (SCART), Gordon’s Corner Fire Company, Englishtown-Manalapan EMS and MONOC paramedics all responded.
If anyone has information in reference to this incident please contact the Manalapan Township Police Department. The collision is being investigated by Patrolman Matthew Meyler.
