Rt. 33 Wawa Splits $715,384-Winning Lottery Ticket

MONROE, NJ — A Wawa on Rt. 33 in Monroe Township sold a Jersey Cash 5 lottery ticket that won the $715,384 jackpot, splitting the winnings with a Toms River resident.

The ticket was sold at the Wawa on Rt. 33 at Butcher Road in Monroe Twp. The ticket won in the Thursday, Aug. 29 drawing.

Two lucky tickets matched all five numbers drawn splitting the $715,384 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Thursday, August 29 drawing. Each ticket is worth $357,692. The winning numbers were: 11, 12, 16, 18 and 31 and the XTRA number was: 04. The retailers will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for each winning ticket sold. Those tickets were sold at the following locations:

• Middlesex County: Wawa #8330, 960 Route 33, Monroe
• Ocean County: Shoprite #604, 2 Route 37 W., Toms River
