MARLBORO TOWNSHIP, NJ - The Monmouth County DWI Task Force will conduct a DWI checkpoint this Friday night, March 17, on Rt. 9 in Marlboro Township. The checkpoint will be run from 10 p.m. Friday through 2 a.m. Saturday on Rt. 9 north. Police will be pulling cars over from the northbound lanes into the New York Sports Club parking lot to determine the driver's sobriety, said Brielle Police Chief Michael W. Palmer, task force coordinator. Officers from the Marlboro police department and the Monmouth County DWI Task Force will be conducting the checkpoint.
