If your kids don't want the help which most of the time is the case , you make it so they cant function with out the help. We call it tough love. You tell them they can not live with you and you will no longer support them financially or emotionally until they agree to get help. It might seem crazy and tough but that gives the addict the initiative to get help. if that gets them in the door, the professionals will do the rest.
