As part of their ongoing community commitment, Manasquan Savings Bank has expanded their relationship with the Senior Housing Crime Prevention Foundation (SHCPF). Manasquan Savings Bank is helping protect seniors by funding the Senior Crimestoppers program at Allaire Crossing, a senior affordable housing community in Wall Township.
Manasquan Savings Bank’s funding will help (SHCPF) in their mission to educate seniors, and staff members on the zero tolerance crime platform set into place at senior nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. Components of the Crimestoppers Program include personal lockboxes for the residents, and cash rewards up to $1,000 paid anonymously for information about wrongdoing of any kind and security consultation.
Allaire Crossings is the latest senior living facility to adopt the program. At a special event held on March 6, 2013, Manasquan Savings Bank President, and CEO James Vaccaro was on hand to present Allaire Crossings Manager, Kelly Leenig with a Charter Plaque and donation. Vaccaro also presented the ‘Time of Your Life’ video, which gives Allaire Crossings residents an opportunity to take a walk down memory lane.

This educational program is consistent with our efforts to bring value back to the communities in which we operate” stated Jim Vaccaro, who, as a former COO of Spring Point Senior Living, is well aware of the issues facing individuals in their retirement years.
“Even though our residents live in a safe, secure environment, it is always valuable to have extra knowledge and awareness” added Kelly Leenig, Allaire Crossings Executive Director. “Thanks to Manasquan Savings Bank, our residents can now feel more confident and secure than ever.”
