Fall Native Plant Sale

Located along the Whale Pond Brook, the park features pollinator gardens of native plants and shrubs and a young mini micro forest. The sale offers 325 native specimens grown by our dedicated garden volunteers that includes over 20 species of native grasses, trees and perennial flowers.  Questions concerning plant and pollinator interactions and the identification of cultivars will be answered by our park curator, Matt Vicari.

Tours will be conducted covering the history of Ross Lake Park and the curious Stone hut situated along the pond.

The gardens are cultivated and maintained by a corp of volunteers known as the Garden Friends of Ross Lake Park under the guidance of our curator, Matt Vicari.
