D'Jais Kicking Off Summer Season Friday

Fourth-annual 'Rock for Autism' benefit set for 5 p.m.

There is perhaps no better sign of the start of the summer season in Belmar as when  opens its doors for the first time of the year.

And on Friday, May 4, the bar and cafe on Ocean Avenue plans to open up shop at 5 p.m. for the fourth-annual , presented by the borough's First Aid Squad.

For a $10 admission fee, guests will be privy to a free buffet and cash bar -- all in the name of supporting the Surfers Healing foundation for autism.
