Today I watch the weather channel, wondering if our beautiful Fall Jersey Shore weather will defy the predictions. I have found that they often do. Tomorrow I am photographing at the Historic Smithville Inn in South Jersey. It is an amazing location. Sort of a destination wedding that your guests can drive to in an hour or two. Staying on the grounds adds to the fun of the entire charming village experience. There is browsing and shopping for guests to do before, between or after your plans. For those who stay over, their rooms are just steps away. They even offer little historic cottages within the village for larger groups. Atlantic City is only a twenty minute drive the next day for those ready to move on to more risky business.
The Historic Smithville Village Inn is a personal venue run by an extended "family" who are truly proud of the unique buildings, attitude, and service that they offer. So tomorrow rain or shine, the bride and groom will have a great time.
And i have promised her that if the weather is nasty, we will return and have an after session. The "After Glow" session I promise every rain bride comes from my own wedding. Another long story. But the couple and I will return to the village and take all the romantic photographs they have been looking forward to having. The party will go on.
