At least seven threats have taken place at New Jersey schools over the past week. And students and educators are on edge following the school shooting tragedy that left 17 dead in Florida.
A number of school districts are being recognized for the steps they've taken to make students safe.
Niche.com, which specializes in all different types of consumer rankings, has provided a list of the safest school districts in the United States and New Jersey.

Some of these districts, ironically, also appeared high on Patch's Monday list of 578 schools that had incidents involving weapons in 2016-17.
