Manasquan Bank’s Heather Schick Completes NJBankers Emerging Bank

Heather Schick of Manasquan Bank, a community bank headquartered in the region, has graduated from the NJBankers Leadership Academy, the bank announced.

Schick completed the Emerging Bank Leaders Program designed to enhance the organizational, performance and leadership skills of highly motivated managers who have the potential to become future leaders in the banking industry. The 11-month program includes coursework on leading change, maximizing team development, performance management, communication effectiveness, strategic banking and individual development planning.

As Vice President, Product Support Specialist at Manasquan Bank, Schick is responsible for onboarding and servicing our commercial customers for various Cash Management products including ACH Originations, Online Wire Transfers, Positive Pay, and Remote Deposit Capture. She has been with Manasquan Bank for more than 10 years, starting as Assistant Branch Manager at our Spring Lake Heights, N.J. branch and rising to Assistant Vice President, Branch Manager before receiving a promotion to a VP role in 2014.

Through the Emerging Bank Leaders Program, Schick completed a “leadership challenge” in which she wanted to break down the silos, finding a way to unify the Branches and Administrative Office.
