Manasquan Church Member Killed In Rt. 70 Crash Last Week
Eileen Ziesmer of Brick was killed in a crash at Rt. 70 and Morningstar Road. She was a parishioner at Church of St. Denis in Manasquan.
WALL, NJ — A woman who died in this three-vehicle crash last Thursday in Wall Township has been identified as Eileen Ziesmer, 58, of Brick.
She was a parishioner at Church of St. Denis in Manasquan, according to the Roman Catholic church.
Ziesmer was killed when multiple vehicles collided at the intersection of Rt. 70 and Morningstar Road at around 5:20 p.m. last Thursday, March 5.

Following the crash, Ziesmer was found in unresponsive. Life saving measures, including CPR, were initiated, but she was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital at 6:28 p.m.
The other two drivers involved in the crash were also brought to local medical facilities for treatment. As of Monday evening, no charges have been filed in connection with the crash, a spokesman for the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office said.

In an online post, St. Denis remembered Ziesmer as a "dedicated and cherished part of our parish family" and "someone who served the church for several years."
"Her kindness, grace, unwavering devotion, and joyful presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Please join us in praying for the repose of her soul and for the comfort of her family and friends during this difficult time."
