More Videos Reveal Harsh Detail On Sarah Stern's Alleged Murder

Videos of the Sarah Stern murder trial testimony address how her body was allegedly tossed off a NJ bridge. among other shocking revelations

New videos released this past week of the Sarah Stern murder trial testimony describe how the woman's body was allegedly tossed off the Belmar bridge before it was determined that the case allegedly involved homicide.

In the second week of the trial, other videos show how there was discussion – if not debate – whether Stern was actually suicidal before her alleged murder, according to testimony shown on videos provided by The Asbury Park Press.

In one Press video, Preston Taylor describes how he helped toss Stern's body off a bridge.

In another video, also provided by The Asbury Park Press, a police officer described the area where Sarah Stern's body may have fallen. The police officer said, at one time, he was looking at the case as a possible suicide, according to The Asbury Park Press.

But Linda Stitely, an aunt of Stern's who lives in Florida, talked about how Stern was actually planning to move to Canada. That's why Stern gathered her personal things together and was "packing up" before she eventually disappeard, Stitely said in the The Asbury Park Press video.

In another video, bank employees talked about their final moments with Stern.

After Sarah Stern's car was found abandoned atop the Route 35 bridge in Belmar, however, police were informed by the suspect that Stern was going to Canada to get away from her father, and that she had been suicidal in the past, according to The Press.

Prosecutors have said they believe Liam McAtasney, with Taylor's help, threw Stern's body into the Shark River off the Route 35 bridge in Belmar more two years ago.

This happened after McAtasney strangled her, prosecutors said. McAtasney allegedly strangled his former classmate for $7,000 or more that he removed from her home. Taylor was accused of helping conceal Stern's body.

More details on the recent testimony can be found here:

Taylor has pleaded guilty to seven charges, including robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery, for his part in Stern's murder. Taylor also agreed to testify against McAtasney.

McAtasney, Taylor and Stern were all longtime friends who grew up together, according to News12, and Taylor and Stern went to their junior prom together as dates.

In an Asbury Park Press video, McAtasney said: "If she did jump off the bridge, what are the odds that she's not somewhere all the way out in the ocean by now?" (see video below).

"If she had told me that she was going to jump off the bridge, there would have been no way I would have gone to work that night," he said in the video, referring to the disappearance of Sarah Stern, 19, of Neptune City.
