Route 35 In Belmar Reopened As Flood Waters Recede
But another high tide is due early this evening.
Sections of Route 35 in Belmar were shut down earlier this morning in both directions due to ”extreme” high tide flooding, Belmar Mayor Matt Doherty said on Twitter.
“We do anticipate having to close again this evening for high tide.flood waters from today’s storm,” Doherty said.
