Alfonso D. Rodriguez-Rojas, 36, of Lakewood, whose license was suspended at the time of the incident, was charged with reckless driving, improper passing, passing a stopped school bus and driving while suspended, said Al Della Fave, spokesman for the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office.
The prosecutor’s office has taken to social media to post the video, and the video was shared through Facebook on Friday.

The incident on County Line Road was captured by a motorist’s dashcam and was published by The Lakewood Scoop, Della Fave said, where the prosecutor’s office saw it.
“We at OCPO saw the video and were amazed at the driver’s blatant disregard for the safety of others and the NJ Motor Vehicle Statutes,” Della Fave said.
The case was assigned to Sgt. Michael Cecchini of the prosecutor’s office, who partnered with Patrolman David Silberstein of the Lakewood Police Department Traffic Division, he said.
They investigated the incident, on East County Line Road and Apple Street at approximately 7:23 a.m., which involved a green Ford F-150 pickup truck that pass a stopped school bus over a double yellow line while the school bus had its red lights on and was taking on passengers (children).
Cecchini and Silberstein quickly identified, tracked and located Rodriguez-Rojas and arrested him by 4:30 p.m., Della Fave said.
Rodriguez-Rojas faces a mandatory court appearance June 11 at 9:30 a.m. at Lakewood Municipal Court.
“OCPO thanks those who drive responsibly and pledges the commitment of the entire Ocean County Law Enforcement community to keep our roadways safe,” Della Fave said.
