Crash Closes Route 70 In Manchester

MANCHESTER, NJ — Route 70 is closed in both directions in Manchester following a motor vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.

Manchester Township police said initially the closure was from Mile Marker 43 to Manchester Boulevard, but the closure was expanded to Route 539 about 3:45 p.m.

The Ocean County Sheriff's Office said in an alert that the closure is to the Lakehurst Circle and is due to the motor vehicle crash.

"Expect long delays," the sheriff's office said.
