Manchester Elementary Shows Off Cereal Collection Progress
Manchester Township Elementary School showed off its progress in the district's annual cereal box collection efforts.

MANCHESTER, NJ — There is nothing "junior" about the impact the Manchester Township Elementary School Junior Impact Club is having on hunger.
The elementary school has collected 300 boxes of cereal so far in its efforts to support the Manchester Township School District's annual breakfast cereal collection for the needy.
The goal for 2023 is to collect 1,700 cereal boxes across the district for donation to the Joel E. Perlmutter Memorial Food Pantry at The Barn. The food pantry, and these cereal boxes, will directly serve and support the residents of Manchester, Whiting, and Lakehurst.

Manchester Township Elementary celebrated its collection success with a game of Cereal Dominos. The school's Junior Impact Club members, helped by staff members, brought the boxes into the school's all-purpose room.
The students then carefully set the cereal boxes up in a dominoes pattern, and knocked them down after the rest of the school came in to watch them fall.
