The Center for Healthy Living at Kimball Medical Center, a Barnabas Health facility, will offer self-defense and exercise classes for men and women of all ages and older adults.
A Black Belt Instructor will teach participants how to protect themselves from future falls through exercise, balance and strength training, as well as how to prevent attacks by using self-defense techniques and leverage.
Five hourly classes are offered on the second and fourth Monday of every month from 7 – 8 p.m. for men and women of all ages. Classes for older adults take place on the second and fourth Thursday of every month from 12:15 – 1:15 p.m. All classes will be held at The Center for Healthy Living at 198 Prospect St. in Lakewood.
