What: Lakehurst 4th of July Car Show, Gift Auction and Parade
Where: Lakehurst Elementary School, 301 Union Ave., Lakehurst
When: 9 a.m.-3 p.m., July 4; parade at 11 a.m.

All years, makes, and models will be on display. There will be vendors, contests, raffles and a prize for the most patriotic car decorations.

What: Fireworks at Lake Horicon
Where: Lake Horicon Park, Lake Street

Where: Boardwalk, Point Pleasant Beach

Fourth of July fireworks return to Jenkinson's Boardwalk this summer.

What: Fireworks Extravaganza at the Jersey Shore BlueClaws
Where: ShoreTown Ballpark, Lakewood
When: July 4, after the baseball game

When: Postponed to Aug. 26, 2 p.m. until dark

Manchester Day was rescheduled after thunderstorms were forecast June 24 and 25. Manchester celebrates its founding every summer in the days leading up to Independence Day, complete with entertainment, vendors and fireworks to end the evening.
