'The Lightning Thief' Musical Coming To Manchester High School Stage
The drama club is presenting the Greek mythology-inspired story of Percy Jackson from the book 'The Lightning Thief'; it's been a movie, too

MANCHESTER, NJ — The Manchester Township High School Drama Club is ready to take the stage with its spring production of "The Lightning Thief: A Percy Jackson Musical" on March 10 and 11.
The musical is an adaptation of the Greek mythology-inspired book by Rick Riordan, where a teenager, Percy Jackson, discovers he's a demigod. He and friends then set off to try to find Zeus' missing lightning bolt and prevent a war among the gods.
The musical adaptation first opened on Broadway in 2019. Riordan's book also was turned into the movie, "Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief," in 2010.
