Manchester Names New High School Vice Principal
The hiring replaces Stacie Ferrara, who took a position in another district.

MANCHESTER, NJ -- Manchester Township High School Students will see a familiar face in a new role this school year, after Sarah Thiffault was approved to become the new vice principal at the high school.
The Manchester Township Board of Education appointed Thiffault to the position at the Aug. 22 meeting. She replaces Stacie Ferrara, who left to become the principal at Brick Memorial High School in Brick Township.
Thiffault has spent the last 12 years teaching music at Manchester Township High School, and also served as coordinator of the SOAR program for at-risk students.

"She was instrumental in the newly formed Structured Learning Experience program," district officials said.
She received bachelor's degrees from the University of Western Ontario and Brock University, her master's degree from Rutgers University and educational leadership supervision and administration from NJExcel. She and her husband, Stephen, and their daughter live locally, the district said.

“I am honored and excited for this opportunity to be vice principal at Manchester Township High School,” she said.
