Manchester PTA Hosting Meet The Candidates Night
The forum is not a debate, the PTA stresses; both school board and council candidates are expected to attend.

MANCHESTER, NJ — If you've been looking for information on the views of the candidates for Manchester Township's council and school board, you will have your opportunity on Thursday.
The Manchester Township PTA is hosting a Meet the Candidates forum on Thursday evening at Manchester Township High School.
"This is not a debate," the PTA says in a flyer distributed about the event. It is "a forum for information to help residents make an informed choice come November."

There will be no audience participation at the event, the PTA said.
Questions asked of the candidates will be pertinent to Manchester, the PTA said. If there is a question you would like to see asked, you can submit it to candidates@manchesterpta.org. The questions asked Thursday will come from a variety of sources, the PTA said.

The forum is scheduled to run from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. and there will be refreshments available.
The candidates for three four-year terms on the Township Council are incumbents James Vaccaro Sr., Sal Fusaro and Charles Frattini Sr., who are being challenged by Anne Markovski, Felicia Maria Finn and William Foor.
The candidates for two three-year seats on the Board of Education are Jackie Bermudez, Patrick Barry and James Kenneth Pate. Bermudez and Pate are the incumbents.
